James Edward Johnson Sr.

Departed this life December 21, 2010, James E. Johnson, Sr. of Richmond. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Mae Johnson. He is survived by one daughter, Theresa Johnson; four sons,; James E., Jr., Gregory, Bobby and Lorenzo Johnson; 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; one sister, Bessie Davis; one brother, Theodore Johnson; a host of nieces, among them Shontel Johnson, nephews and cousins; three daughters-in-law, Renee, Carol and Sharon Johnson; one sister-in-law, Rosetta Bailey; two brothers-in-law, James Davis and George Bailey, other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins, Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Ave. where the family will receive friends 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and where funeral services will be held Wednesday, 11 a.m., Rev. Earl Brown officiating. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 10:45 a.m. Wednesday.
