Cook, Departed this life December 25, 2010. Nelson Cook of Richmond. He was a member of Henrico Lodge #41(PHA). He was a Past Potentate of Mocha Temple #7(PHA). He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Frances Cook. He is survived by one son, Nelson Bernard Cook(Vivian); two grandchildren, Corbin T. Cook and Valencia C. Rachal; one great granddaughter, Milan A. Rachal; two sisters, Margie Morgan and Ethel Slabe; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; three sisters-in-law, Mary T. Hutcheson(Joseph), Anne E. Thornton and Lillie Mae Cook; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 11AM at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W. Cary Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Earl Brown(pastor) off. Entombment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Thursday.
