West, Departed this life January 21, 2011. Mrs. Shirley West of Richmond. She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. West. She is survived by three daughters; Denise Randolph, Anneathira Mallory, and Vickie Brown; one son, Xavier Wilson; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; her mother, Viola Jones; two sisters, Nora Howard and Carolyn Walker; one brother, Wilbert Jones Jr.; one uncle, Tucker Harris; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter-in-law, Cynthia Wilson; one son-in-law, Boyd Randolph; one sister-in-law, Sandra Jones; one brother-in-law, Gerald West and other relatives and friends, among them a devoted Phyllis Taylor. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11Am/ at St. Paul’s Baptist Church,4247 E. Creighton Road, where remains will lie in state one hour prior to to funeral time. Rev. Lance Watson(pastor) off. Interment Moores Family Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45Am Friday. .
