Martha Washington Carey

Departed this life January 28, 2011. Mrs. Martha Carey of Richmond. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Carey Sr. She is survived by one son, Charles Carey Jr.; two grandchildren, Chanda and Jamaal Carey; one great granddaughter, Alayna Carey; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter-in-law, Bernadette Carey; one sister-in-law, Margaret Washington and other relatives and friends. She taught French and Spanish and retired from Henrico County Public Schools. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held Friday at 1P.M. Rev. Earl Brown off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 12:45PM Friday.
