Departed this life March 2, 2011. Charles J. McCoy of Richmond. He was a member of King Solomon Lodge #27(Prince Hall Affiliated). He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline McCoy. He is survived by one daughte,r Charline M. McClain; one son, Andre M. McCoy; two grand children, Dra-on A. Wilson and Chanettelle L. Lundy; eight great grandchildren; two sisters, Ruth Shields and Ralphetta Ward Harrison; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter-in-law, Angela Harris McCoy; one son-in-law, William E. McClain; six sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30PM friday. Funeral services will be held Saturday 11AM at Sixth Baptist Church, 400 So. Addison Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Yvonne Bibbs(pastor) off. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Saturday.
