Alvin Wilkins

Departed this life April 2, 2011. Alvin Wilkins Sr. of Richmond. He is preceded in death by his wife Rosie L. Wilkins and son Anthony V. Wilkins. He is survived by one daughter Rosie W. Turner, three sons Aubrey, Alvin Jr., and Clinton Wilkins; 16 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; five brothers Freddie, Melvin, Eugene, George and James Robertson; two aunts Esther Wilkins and Dollie M. Davis; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; three daughters in law June, Patricia and Velma Wilkins; one son in law Gregory Turner Sr.; several sisters in law; one brother in law and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 11AM at Second Baptist Church, 1400 Idlewood Avenue where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. James Harris(pastor) off. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Wednesday.
