Arbelle C Booker

Mrs.Arbelle Charity Booker of Richmond Va, retired teacher of Richmond City Public Schools, departed this life April 1, 2011. She is survived by one brother, Samuel Charity, two sisters-in-law, Phyllis W. and Shirley Charity; a host of cousins, nephews and nieces; including devoted caregivers, Linda Washington and Wilnette Dyer; and a host of relatives and friends. Her remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Ave. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 11 a.m. at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 520 N. Boulevard where her remains will lie in state one hour before the service. The Reverend Margaret Watson and The Reverend Harry Nevels officiants. Interment will be at St. John Baptist Church, Charles City, VA. Family and friends will assemble at the church 10:45 am.In her memory, contributions can be made to Saint Paul’s College Lawrenceville, Virginia.
