Rev. Floyd Moses Roane

Departed this life April 21, 2011. Rev. Floyd M. Roane of Richmond. He was pastor of Mt. Garland Baptist Church in Bumpass, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Pearl Scott Roane. He is survived by his wife, Carrie Roane; one daughter, Toie Butler, three sons; Cornell, Guy, and Andre Roane; ___ grandchildren; ___ great grandchildren; __ great great grandchildren; two sisters, Delores Roane and Nannie Davis; four brothers; John, David, Frank and Linwood Roane; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; two daughters-in-law, Jackie and Chelene Roane; seven sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Monday 12 noon at Mt. Garland Baptist Church, 4000 Buckner Road in Bumpass, Virginia where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Charles Haden off. Interment church cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45AM. Monday.
