Delores McMullen Waddey

Mrs. Delores McMullen Waddey, age 85, departed this life April 27, 2011. She is preceded in death by her husband, Cornelius R. Waddey, Sr., a daughter, Cynthia McMullen Thomas and a brother, Joseph E. McMullen. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Veronica Diane Waddey, Cornelius Richard Waddey, Jr. (Phyllis), Maria Darlene Waddey, Donna Lisa Waddey-Mabry, Dwayne Andrew Waddey (Sharon), and Kevin Bouvier Waddey; 16 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one sister-in-law, Gertrude Waddey and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Monday, 12 noon at New Canaan Baptist Church, 4712 Forest Hill Avenue where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Louis Blakey, Jr. and Rev.
