Departed this life April 27, 2011, Lonnie Whitehead of Richmond. He is preceded in death by one son, Chauncey Whitehead. He is survived by his wife, Vera Whitehead; three daughters; Wanda Smith, Kim Johnson and Roxie White; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three sisters; Dorothy Jones, Barbara Jenkins and Arlene Fahie; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; two sons-in-law, Eric White and Arthur Smith; one sister-in-law; six brothers-in-law and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 12 noon, Rev. Calvin Duncan, officiating. Interment Maury Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 11:45 a.m Tuesday.
