Matilda Jones Hines

Departed this life May 23, 2011. Deaconess Matilda Hines of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, Theodore F. Hines and one son, Milton Green Sr. She is survived by a devoted son, Richard Jones; 12 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren; one brother, John Lee Williams; a host of cousins; two daughters-in-law, Virginia Green and Mable Jones and other relatives and many friends, among them a caretaker, Yvonne Minor. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Friday 11AM at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, 1902 Rosewood Avenue where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. William B. Wiggins(pastor). Dr. Sylvester T. Smith off. Interment Roselawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Friday.
