David Lee Gibson

Departed this life May 23, 2011. David Lee Gibson Jr. of Richmond. He was a Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus, Council #6546. He is preceded in death by his father, David Lee Gibson Sr. and sister, Evelyn Gibson. He is survived by his wife, Bobbye Gibson; one daughter, Demetria Gibson; two sons, Terrance and Marcellus Gibson; four granddaughters; Alina, Makala, Sanai and Samaya; his mother, Gladys Gibson; two sisters, Mary Gibson and Gladys Coleman; two aunts, Edith Harris and Sarah Bowman; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter-in-law, Holly Gibson; two brothers-in-law, Aubrey and Jeffrey Brown and other relatives and friends. David was an Altar Minister, Eucharist Minister, usher-greeter, Sacristan Coordinator and Member of the Pastoral Council. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8PM Tuesdsay. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 3PM at St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church, 2700 Dolfield Drive where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Father Donald H. Lemay off. Interment will be Thursday 12 noon at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 2:45PM Wednesday.
