Departed this life May 30, 2011. Joseph L. Jones Sr. of Richmond. He is preceded in death by one son, Jerome Jones, one granddaughter, Charlexus M. Jones and a sister, Emma Smith. He is survived by his wife, Sarah Jones; three daughters; Brenda White, Thelma Jones and Pastor Patricia Lowe; two sons, Joseph Jr. and Charles Jones; nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; one sister, Vinnie Simpson; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; three daughters-in-law; Terry, Gail, and Linda Jones; two sons-in-law, Edward White Jr. and Calvin Lowe; his father-in-law, Wilson Smith; two sisters -in-law, Rosa Paige and Hazel Lundy; four brothers-in-law; Rodney Simpson and Wilson Jr., MacArthur & Herbert Smith. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held Friday 1PM. Pastor Danette Massey off. Interment Mt.
