Departed this life June 5, 2011. Mrs Alma Belle Cardwell of Richmond. She is survived by her husband, Junious Cardwell; one daughter, Shirley Cardwell Gaines; one son, Keith Edward Cardwell; two grandchildren, Alayna Gaines Riggins(David) and Kayla Shenika Minor; one great grandson, Solomon Riggins; six sisters; Robnette B. Butler(David), Ethel B. Johnson, LaVerne B. Jeter, Emmeline B. Satterfield, Dr. Joan B. Christian, and Eulalia B. Lee(William); two brothers Dr. Walton Belle(Armond) and Clyde Belle(Marietta Teele); a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one sister-in-law; two brothers-in-law and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Friday 11AM at Third Street Bethel A.M.E. Church, 614 N. Third Street where the family will receive friends from 10am until hour of funeral. Rev. Godfrey Patterson(pastor) off. Interment Riverview Cemetery.
