Helen W. Ruffin

Departed this life June 7, 2011. Deaconess Helen Ruffin of Richmond. She was a member of Mary C. Stewart Chapter #128 OES(PHA) and Lydia Court # 2(PHA). She was a retired employee of the Internal Revenue Service. She is survived by her husband, Albert Ruffin; one daughter, Ruby L. Ruffin; one granddaughter, Nicole A. Ruffin; two sisters, Hazel Mobley and Hester Rogers; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; mother-in-law, Deaconess Mary Ruffin; two sisters-in-law, Emma Ruffin Watson and Josephine Ruffin; two brothers-in-law, Quinton Mobley and Archie Ruffin; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30PM friday. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11AM at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. William B. Wiggins II(pastor) off. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Saturday.
