Departed this life June 12, 2011. Mrs. Shirley P. Threatts of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, James W. Threatts and two sons, James Threatts Jr. & Kenneth Leroy Threatts Sr. She is survived by three daughters; Brenda Threatts, Carolyn Hurt and Shirlene Threatts; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; one great great great grandchild; two brothers, Charles Johnson and Karim Yamini; one uncle Wilbert Cox; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter-in-law, Barbara Threatts; one sister-in-law, __________; __ brothers-in-law, Frank Threatts Sr. and _________________ and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30PM Thursday. Funeral services will be held Friday 1PM Second Baptist Church, 1400 Idlewood Avenue where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. James Harris(pastor) off. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45PM friday.
