Fredricka Sanders Creighton

CREIGHTON, Fredricka Sanders - of Stamford, CT who relocated to Richmond in 2007 - departed this life peacefully on July 18, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Garland Creighton, Sr. She is survived by her two loving children, Joyce Bolden (Arthur) and Garland Jr. (Gwendolyn) of Richmond; a niece, Kym Thompson (Eric) of Winchester, VA; three grandchildren, Aaronde Creighton (Jennifer), Shenika Carson (Michael) of Atlanta and Rasheeda Matthews (Javan) of Richmond; five great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends. Fredricka was a life long member of Union Baptist Church. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Northminster Baptist Church, 3121 Moss Side Ave., Richmond, Va. 23222, Dr. Samuel Williams, Pastor; Rev. Ray Smith, officiating.
