Departed this life August 4, 2011. Joe L. Wilks of Richmond. He was a member of Jonathan Lodge #112(Prince Hall Affilliated). He is survived by his wife, Lillian Harris-Wilks; four sisters; Georgia Parker, Gladys Murphy, Catherine Davis and Jonell Coles; one brother, Cornell Hines; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; six sisters-in-law; Hannah Wilks, Hazel Daniels, Elna Branch, Ernestine Gibbs, Delores McRae and Shirley Hines; two brothers-in-law, Morris Murphy and Frank Parker and other relatives and friends, among them a god son, Bennie Lane. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11AM. Dr. James A. Carey off. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.
