Willie Mae Winbush

Departed this life August 28, 2011. Mrs. Willie Mae Winbush of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, Louis Winbush Sr., one daughter, Wanda Winbush and one grandson, Marlin Jones. She is survived by two daughters, Delores Hewlett and Gail Jones; two sons, Rev. Louis Winbush Jr. and Alphonso Winbush Sr.; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren; one sister, Gracie Bodrick; two brothers, William Brodrick Jr. and Jesse Lee Bodrick; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; two daughters-in-law, Betty and Juanita Winbush; one son-in-law, Rev. Reginald Jones; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Saturday 11AM at Hood Temple A. M. E. Zion Church, 16 W. Clay Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Dr. Edmund H. Whitley(pastor)officiating. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Saturday.
