Departed this life September 21, 2011 . Mrs. Helen E. Turner of Richmond. She is survived by her husband, Carroll E. Turner, Sr.; one daughter, Janet Turner Winters; three sons; Carroll E. Turner Jr., Gregory N. Turner Sr., and Bernard L. Turner Sr.; 11 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; three daughters-in-law; Verna, Rosie and Connie Turner; one sister-in-law, Marie L. Meekins and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Saturday 12 noon at Second Baptist Church, 1400 Idlewood Avenue where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. James Harris(pastor) off. Interment Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45AM Saturday.
