Departed this life September 26, 2011. Pauline M. Carter of Richmond. She is survived by one daughter, Ernestine Coleman(Kenneth); 2 stepchildren, Louis L. Carter Jr.(Juanita) and Martin C. Carter; two grandchildren, Amanda Montague(Charles) and Chanice Coleman; 5 stepgrandchildren; three great grandchildren Tiana, Charles Jr. and Ymani Montague; one sister, Otelia Massenburg; two brothers, Howard and Herbert(Doe) Massenburg; three aunts; Maggie Meekins, Ruth Gilliam and Earlene Johnson; three sisters-in-law, Eva, Olivia and Joslin Massenburg; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Monday at 1PM. at Cedar Street Baptist Church, 2301 Cedar Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Anthony M. Chandler(pastor) Rev. Phillip Deal off. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45PM Monday.
