Harriett Johnson Harris

Departed this life September 30, 2011. Mrs. Harriet J. Harris of Richmond. She is survived by one daughter, Ellen Blackwell; two sons, Clarence Johnson and Thomas Harris Jr.; eleven grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; four sisters; Alice Williams, Estelle Jones, Rebecca Christian and Mamie Christian; five brothers; Christopher, Richard, Frank and Edward Brown and Howard Jones; two aunts, Alice Allison and Hester Ingram; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; two daughters-in-law, Helen Harris and Billy Jean Johnson; one son-in-law, Glen Blackwell Sr.; one sister-in-law, Estelle Brown; two brothers-in-law, Wilbert Jones and Stephen Robinson and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 1PM at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W. Cary Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Earl Brown(pastor) off. Interment Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Charles City. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45PM Wednesday.
