Departed this life October 25, 2011. Mrs. Barbara Simms Morton of Richmond. She is survived by her husband, Maurice Morton; one sister, Lillian S. Rasberry; one brother, Robert H. Simms; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one sister-in-law, Rosetta B. Simms; one brother-in-law, Tyrone Jones; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Thursday 12 noon at First Baptist Church of South Richmond, 1501 Decatur Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Derik Jones(pastor) off. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45AM Thursday.
