James Herman Barksdale

Departed this life November 9, 2011. James Barksdale of Richmond. He is preceded in death by one son, Keith A. Barksdale. He is survived by his wife, Lillie R. Barksdale; one daughter, Emily Drummond; three sons; Jesse Reed, Earnest W. and Herman L. Barksdale; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Ruth Carter and Susan Talley; three brothers; Robert, Marshall and Jesse Barksdale; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; three daughters-in-law; Charlisa D. & Freda A. Barksdale and Angela Edwards; one son-in-law, Kevin Drummond; nine sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10AM. Dr. Ricardo Brown off. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 9:45AM Tuesday.
