Departed this life November 13, 2011. Mrs. Elsie Brown of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, Neely Brown. She is survived by two daughters, Edith Bragg and Mary Edwards; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one son-in-law, Carlton Edwards; one brother-in -law, Weeladdie Brown; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Friday, 11AM at Brown Grove Baptist Church, 12816 Bailey Bridge Road where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Andrew Cary(pastor). Rev. Samuel Robinson off. Interment Brown Baptist Church Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Friday.
