Bessie C. Peaks

Departed this life November 14, 2011. Mrs. Bessie Peaks of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, Heweith Peaks and one granddaughter, Denise Mines. She is survived by one daughter, Shirley Harrison; one son, Thomas Russell; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter-in-law, Bubbletine Russell; one son-in-law,Deacon Edward Harrison; six sister- in-law; three brothers-in-law and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 1PM at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W. Cary Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Earl Brown(pastor) off. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45PM Tuesday.
