Beatrice D. Thorpe

Departed this life November 27, 2011. Mrs Beatrice Thorpe of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard A. Allen, one daughter, Betty A. Owens and one son-in-Iaw, George H. Day, Sr. She is survived by two daughters, Linda A. Chavis and Jeanette Comer Day; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; one sister, Hallie Bailey; one brother, Calloway Daniel; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; two sons-in-law, Willie Chavis and Robert Owens; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held Thursday at 1PM. Dr. Lester Frye officiating Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 12:45pm on Thursday.
