Henry R. Hughes Sr.

Departed this life December 13, 2011. Henry R. Hughes Sr. formerly of Richmond. He is survived by one son, Henry R. Hughes Jr.; four grandchildren; Henry R. III, Jacob, David and Tamara Hughes; two great grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy Taylor; one brother, John Hughes; several nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter-in-law, Gerunda Hughes; one sister-in-law, Sallie Hughes; one brother-in-law, Nehemiah Taylor; and other relatives and friends. He was a World War II Army veteran. He retired from the U. S. Postal Service. He was a member of Jonathan Lodge #112(Prince Hall Affiliated). Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where services will be held Tuesday at 1PM. Interment Quantico National Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 12:45PM Tuesday.
