Lozalia B. Jones

JONES, Lozalia departed this life December 16,2011. She is survived by her husband, Bernard L Jones, Sr.; two daughters, Dr. Badiyyah (Bernadine) Waajid and Bernadette Howard; one son, Bernard L. Jones Jr.; two granddaughters, Kimberly Hines and Raquiyah Waajid; one great-granddaughter, Inayah O'neil; one brother, Leonardo Chappell; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter-in-law, Addie Jones; two sons-in-law, Tariq Waajid and Joseph Howard, Esqure, Two sisters-in-law,, Helen Jackson and Deacon Elsie Mitchell; and other relatives and friends. She was a lifelong and active member of St. Peter's Epscopal Church. She was a member of the Parliamentary Law Club of Richmond, Astoria Wives and the Richmond Council of Women. Memorial services will be held Wednesday 11 a.m. at St Philip's Episcopal Church, 2900 Hanes Ave. Rev. Phoebe Roaff, Pastor, Rev Lynn Washington, officiating. Family, friends and organizations assemble at the church 10:45 a.m Wednesday. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the St. Peter's Epicopal Church Building Fund 1719 N. 22nd St., Richmond, Va. 23223. Professional services entrusted to Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home.
