Caramel Russell

Passed December 26, 2011 after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Caramel A. Russell, formerly of Richmond. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth and Benjamin Alston and a brother, Douglas Alston. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Dr. Joseph J. Russell; a daughter, Cassandra Russell-Isiguzo(Alan); grandson, Alan-Russell Isiguzo; sister Ruth Dennis-Phillips; three brothers; Benjamin Alston(Claudette), Calvin Alston(Carolyn) and Leo J. Dennis; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 1PM at Riverview Baptist Church, 2604 Idlewood Avenue where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Stephen Hewlett(pastor) officiating. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45PM Wednesday.
