Departed this life January 4, 2012. Mrs. Valerie Stanley of Richmond. She is survived her husband, Robert C. Stanley; one son, Robert L. Stanley; two grandchildren, Kamora L. and Kharron L. Stanley; two aunts, Beulah Thomas and Ethel Thomas, both of Henderson, North Carolina; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter-in-law, Shamora Stanley; five sisters-in-law; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held Monday at 11AM. Rev. Earl Brown off. Interment Maury Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 10:45AM Monday.
