James Henry Jones

Departed this life January 5, 2012. James H. Jones of Richmond. He is preceded in death by his wife, Alice B. Jones, three sons; James A., Gaylord and Curtis Jones. He is survived by six daughters; Yvonne Hervey, Victoria Morris, Scherrie Ogun, Donna Lester, Stephanie Baskerville and Candy Jones; three sons; Leon, Earl and Gordon Jones; 32 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; three sons-in-law, Michael Lester, Erwin Baskerville and Terry Hervey; seven sisters-in-law, Clara Davis, Frances James, Brenda Crew, Edna Bailey, Ernestine Allen, Cynthia Brown and Daisy Crew; five brothers-in-law, Jimmie and Frank Brown, Rudolph and Michael Crew and Richard Bailey and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30pm to 7:30pm Wednesday. Funeral services will be held Thursday 12 noon at Trinity Baptist Church 2811 Fendall Avenue where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. A. Lincoln James(pastor) off. Interment Maury Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45AM thursday .
