Departed this life January 20, 2012. Samuel Lamont Johnson of Richmond. He is preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Johnson Hicks. He is survived by his wife, Charmaine Johnson; three children; Kiyelle Gentry, Qwayvon Smith and Nyako Byrd; one grandson, Leland Smith; his fathe,r Samuel Davis; maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Johnson; paternal grandmother, Blanche Ruffin; three sisters; Lachelle Lawrence, Ashley Hicks and Cherice Scott; three brothers; William Jr. and Michael Hicks and Sherman Green; one aunt, Sandra Lewis; two uncles, Michael Jones and Nathan Williams; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; mother and father-in-law, Marilyn and Albert Morton; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held Saturday 1PM. Rev. Robert Winfree off. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 12:45PM Saturday.
