Departed this life January 24, 2012. James Cesar Wilson of Richmond. He is preceded in death by his wife, Della Bell Wilson. He is survived by a devoted daughter, Alvena Wilson Ryan; three sons; James Wilson Jr., Hebert Leroy Wilson and Michael Wilson Sr.; fourteen grandchildren, among them a devoted Frank Ryan III; twelve great grandchildren; one great great grand daughter; a host of nieces, among them a devoted Amanda(Judy) Scroggins, nephews and cousins; two daughters-in-law, Herminia and Karen Wilson; three sisters-in-law, Doretha, Lorraine and Amelia Wilson; two brothers-in-law, Paul and Silas Wilson; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Monday 1PM at Third Street Bethel AME Church located at 614 N. Third Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Godfrey Patterson(pastor) officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45PM Monday.
