Departed this life February 10, 2012. Mrs. Virgie B. Smith of Richmond. She is preceded in death by two sons, Charles L. and Alvin A. Smith. She is survived by two daughters, Alice A. Harris and Treeda R. Smith; one son, Robert S. Smith Jr.; four grandchildren; DeWanda S. Crumm, Tracy R. Smith; Robert S. Smith III and Kimberly C. Scott; five great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Rev. Sandra Taylor Smith and other relatives and friends, among them friends from the William Byrd. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home 2011 Grayland Ave where funeral services will be held 1PM Wednesday. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Dr. Willie Woodson officiating. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 12:45PM Wednesday.
