Departed this life February 17, 2012. Marvin Maddox Sr. of Richmond. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Maddox; three sons; Marvin Jr, Kelvin and Eric Maddox; four grandchildren; Kelvin Jr., Eric Jr. & Dajour Maddox and Sidney Adkins; two brothers, Stephen Jr and William Maddox; one uncle, Calvin Maddox; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; two daughters-in-law, Terry and Roxie Maddox; four sister-in-law; Gail & Cheryl Maddox, Lorine Lovelace and Rosa Mangum; one brother-in-law, Herbert Gillispie Jr. and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 1PM at Moore Street Missionary Baptist Church, 1408 W. Leigh Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Alonza Lawrence(pastor). Rev. Marshall Garrett off. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45PM Wednesday.
