Purnell B. Jones

Departed this life March 24, 2012. Mrs. Purnell Jones of Baltimore, formerly of West Point, Virginia. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Jones. She is survived by one sister, Lorraine B. Johnson; three nieces; Yvonne J. Carter(Vernon), Rhonda J. Young(Posey) and Amy J. Harris(Rayford); one nephew, Everette C. Johnson; a host of great nieces and nephews; a devoted cousin, Theatrice B. Davis; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Friday 1PM at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church, located at 13th and Kirby Street in West Point, Virginia where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Reverend Dr. Leo C. Wagner(pastor) off. Interment Sunny Slope Cemetery in West Point. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45PM Friday
