Departed this life April 9, 2012. Wilbur Brooks of Richmond. He is preceded in death by wife, Sallie T. Brooks; one daughter, Alice Brooks; two sons, Frank and Harvey Brooks. He is survived by six daughters; Bernice Clayton, Doris Parrish, Brenda Buckmon, Evelyn Brooks, Maryland Jones and Samantha Alexander; four sons; Wilbur A., Sylvester, Matthew and Wilford Brooks; ___ grandchildren; ___ great grandchildren; one sister, Catherine Fleming; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; two daughters-in -law, Gayle and Delores Brooks; three sons-in-law, Jerome Clayton, Frank Buckmon, and Eric Alexander Sr.; one sister -in-law, Violet Spence; three brothers-in-law; Raymond, Floyd and Curtis Thaniel and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held Monday at 1PM. Rev. ______________________________ off. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 12:45PM Monday.
