Junius Putney

Departed this life May 21, 2012. Junius H. Putney Jr. of Richmond. He is survived by his wife, Melissa Putney; one son Junius H. Putney III; one grandson, Junius H. Putney IV; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter-in-law, Vashti Putney; four sisters-in-law, Annette Daniel, Cindy Baldwin, Velma Daniel and Virgie Daniel; three brothers-in-law, Clayton, Owen and Roger Daniel; and other relatives, his church family and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Saturday 12 noon at First United Presbyterian Church, 3401 North Avenue where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Willie Woodson(pastor) off. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45AM Saturday. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the First United Presbyterian Church Building Fund.
