Catherine Cobb McWhite

Departed this life May 25, 2012. Mrs. Catherine C. McWhite of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, Willie McWhite Sr. and one grandson, Covin McWhite. She is survived by three daughters; Wilma Turner, Sarah Wilmot and Minister Angela Bullock; one son, Willie McWhite Jr.; nine grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; one sister, Willie Reese Yearby; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter-in-law, Yvonne H. McWhite; one son-in-law, Willie A. Turner Jr.; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30PM Tuesday. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 11AM at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W. Cary Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Earl Brown(pastor) off. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Wednesday. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Central Virginia Food Bank in memory of Catherine C. McWhite.
