Departed this life June 19, 2012. Joseph Gilmore of Richmond. He is survived by four sons; Otis, Michael & Eddie Gilmore and Darvell Braxton; two grandchildren; one great grandson; his mother, Hilda Gilmore Dixon; his father, Raymond Poindexter; one sister, Barbara Roberts; five brothers; Charlie, Carl & Jessie Gilmore; and Randy & Orange Dixon; three aunts; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one sister-in-law, Carolyn Gilmore; and other relatives and friends among them a devoted, Beverly Batts. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11AM. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 10:45AM Wednesday.
