Phyllis Tunisia Lee

Departed this life June 21, 2012. Ms. Phyllis Lee of Richmond. She is survived by her mother, Josephine Lee; two sisters, Sharon Lee Cotten and Velvett Jenkins; six aunts; Shirley Alston(Eldridge), Christine Coppedge(Luther), Marjorie Leonard, Gloria Lee, Rosetta Holmes and Lucy Dozier; three nieces; two nephews; a host of cousins; two brothers-in-law, Rodney Cotten and Bobby Jenkins and other relatives and loving friends, among them her devoted fiance George Nelson. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 11AM at Southside Baptist Church, 6000 Ironbridge Road where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Dennis Tucker(pastor) off. Interment St. John’s Cemetery, Battleboro, North Carolina. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Tuesday.
