Alberta Josephine Russell

Russell, Departed this life October 13, 2007. Mrs. Alberta Russell of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband Preston Russell and a daughter Alberta Jordan. She is survived by four daughters Palma Lambert, JoVon Russell, Angelyn Walters of Wilkes-Barre, Pa. and Carolyn Wright; three sons Preston Jr., Travis and Wayne Russell; fifteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; four sisters Catherine Forbes, Frances Wilder, Janie Jones and Vinnderay Hearn; one brother William Lewis; several aunts and uncles, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter in law Barbara Russell, two sons in law Jerry Walters Sr. and Mark Wright Sr.; four sisters in law; five brothers in law; and other relatives and friends among them Lillie Lewis and Grace Mines. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Friday 12 noon at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church located at 2814 Moss Side Avenue where remains will lie in state one hour prior funeral time. Dr. Gregory Fisher(pastor & officiating) Rev. Janie Jones eulogy.
