Marie Hopkins Johnson

Departed this life July 19, 2012. Mrs. Marie Johnson of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Johnson. She is survived by two daughters, Valerie Martin and Iris Houston; two sons, Fred Jr. and Anthony Johnson; nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; two sisters, Annie H. Pollard and Virginia Woodson; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one devoted daughter-in-law, Pamela Johnson; one son-in-law, Wayne Houston; five sisters-in-law; five brothers-in-law, and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:30 to 7:30PM and where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1PM. Bishop Melvin Williams officiating. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 12:45PM Wednesday.
