Helen Vivian Sharpe Corbin

Departed this life August 3, 2012. Mrs. Helen Corbin of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Corbins Sr. and one daughter Faye Tinsley. She is survived by three sons; Jonathan(Gail), Sterling, and Moses(Joyce); five stepchildren; Mary Rose Burrell and Charles Jr, Travis, Ronald and Gregory Corbin; 25 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; four sisters; Avelia Sharpe, Beatrice Waddey, Barbara Clatterbuck and Dorothy Brown; three brothers; Johnny, Clyde and Walter Sharpe; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; two sisters-in-law, Cora Young and Ann Sharpe; one brother-in-law, Leonidas Young Sr.; and other relatives and friends among them two devoted, Geraldine Phillips and Lucille Buckingham. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30PM Wednesday. Funeral services will be held 12 noon Thursday at New Kingdom Christian Ministries, 3200 Dill Avenue where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Leonidas Young II(pastor) off. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45AM Thursday.
