Leyon Moore

Departed this life August 12, 2012. Leyon Moore formerly of South Norwalk, Connecticut. He is preceded in death by his wife, Louise Moore, a daughter, Peggy Moore Matthews and a son, Vandy Moore. He is survived by two daughters, Wilma Lenette Moore Harris and Bessie Louise “Sunday” Jarett of Wilmington, Delaware; one son, Murtin Elsworth Moore of Miami, Florida; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter-in-law, Sandra Moore; two sons-in-law, Kelvin Harris and James Matthews; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends Friday from 6:30 to 7:30PM and where funeral services will be held Saturday 1PM. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 12:45PM Saturday.
