Spearman, Departed this life August 27, 2012. Mrs. Rosa H. Spearman, age 101, formerly of Newtown. She is preceded in death by her husband, Offie Spearman Sr. and one son, William Hill Sr. She is survived by three daughters; Debra Spearman, Veronica Spearman Harris and a devoted Doreatha Spearman; three sons; Lawrence, Jesse and Offie Jr. Spearman; ten grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; fourteen great great grandchildren; one great great great grandson; three step grandsons; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; two daughters-in-law, Bessie and Deborah Spearman; and other relatives and friends among them two devoted, Diane Saunders and Norris Lewis. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Saturday 1PM at Great Hope Baptist Church, 2101 Venable Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Earl Bledsoe(pastor) off.
