Departed this life September 7, 2012. Leslie E. Byrd of Richmond. He is preceded in death by his wife, Josephine Byrd. He is survived by one daughter, Linette Houston; one son, Danny Jeter; five grandchildren; three sisters and two brothers, all of Seattle, Washington; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one son-in-law, Cedric Houston; his mother-in-law, Blonnie Jeter; one sister-in-law, Carolyn Harrison; one brother-in-law, James Coleman and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where memorial services will be held Thursday at 1PM. Elder Leroy Connor off.
