Departed this life September 19, 2012. Deacon Mary Lucy Jackson Parham of Richmond. She is survived by one daughter, Deloris J. Hicks; two granddaughters, Cheryl D. and Michelle R. Hicks; a host of cousins; a son-in-law, Theodore W. Hicks; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Monday 11AM at Second Baptist Church, 1400 Idlewood Avenue where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. James Harris(pastor) off. Interment Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Gum Spring, Virginia. Family and friends assemble at the Second Baptist Church 10:45AM Monday.
