Willie Scarborough Sr.

Scarborough, Departed this life November 17, 2007. Willie Scarborough Sr. of Richmond. He is preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Scarborough and one son, Charles Scarborough. He is survived by four daughters Williean Austin, Wilma Rhone, Frances Scott and Toni Scarborough; four sons, Jerry, Alvin, Willie Jr. and Melvin Scarborough; 18 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; two sisters, Eva Sowell and Gertie Ponds; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter in law, Martha Scarborough; two sisters- in-law, Elease Freshley and Adele Magazine; one brother-in-law, Thomas Summers and other relatives and friends, among them his church family. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Friday 1P.M. at Triumphant Baptist Church located at 2003 Lamb Avenue where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Arthur Jones(pastor) off. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45P.M. Friday.
